Stop Press: On the 1st December 2020 the maintanance requirement changed to be, £1270 in your bank account for a minimum of 28 days before the applicaiton can be made.
The Start-up visa replaced the Tier 1 (Graduate
Entrepreneur) route, which closed on the 5th July 2019.
Please note the University will only be endorsing candidates who meet all of the following:
current student of the University of South Wales who has studied at the
Pontypridd, Cardiff, Newport Campus or at the RWCMD, and who is going
to be awarded a degree or PhD in the next two months
b) a graduate of the University of South Wales who studied at the Pontypridd, Cardiff, Newport Campus or at the RWCMD, and has been awarded a degree or PhD within the last 12 months.
Regrettably, the University will not be able to endorse Start-up visa applications from individuals that have studied at partner institutions, graduated from other institutions or that have not been awarded a qualification at NQF6 or above

Applications for the Summer 2021 Session will open on 25th May 2021 and close on 8th June 2021 - applications outside of this period will not be considered. Winter 2021 dates are published below but may be subject to change.
All Stage 1 applications must be made using the University Start Up application form.
